Thank You!

FIrst off, I know it’s a holiday weekend AND Sunday Funday at the same time, so if you are reading this THANK YOU!!

That being said, this edition’s message of THANK YOU can be interpreted in a variety of ways. I will keep it brief and explain…

I am now a mom who is new to having 2 (of my 3) kids in college. OUCH.

Ouch not because I feel old, because I do, but because I had a hard time letting them go.

The Senior for obvious reasons and also The Freshman for just starting her journey that seems like my son just started but is in reality, completing.

My job here at Strive2Move gives me the privilege to engage with our patients. I love it.

In particular, there are a few that have helped me with my “letting go” skills. They have reminded me that college is “their time” and that everything would be ok, and also, that my feelings were normal and valid. I needed to hear that for sure!

So my message to our patients is a big THANK YOU! I do miss engaging with you when I am not in the office, because you all help me just as much as we help you. Truly.

Call me a crazy mom (I have heard it before!) or call me an overprotective one – it doesn’t matter because I am both and proud of it. I am also proud to know all of the friends I have made because of Strive2Move.

As always, if you need us for anything, we are always here for you!

Keeping it real,
