I was visiting my Grandma the other day and I took a picture of some of her supplements
As you can see, she is just like many of us in that she needs Vitamin D, some Calcium and Magnesium.
The problem is that QUALITY matters.
The supplement game is a tricky one to navigate and since they are unregulated it’s real easy to take crap.
And the paradox is that even though many of these are cheaper, you are actually wasting your money because your body won’t really absorb much of these anyway.
As you can guess, I’m just not a fan of these two brands.
And if I wouldn’t take those brand of supplements myself, I obviously wouldn’t want Grandma taking them either.
Instead, I only work with brands of supplements that usually can not be found over the counter and that I know dedicate themselves innovation and research.
Furthermore, I truly believe that if you are on a regime of supplements from Costco or Rite Aide (just examples) you are better off not even taking them. BUT, that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t be taking any supplements. You just need better quality.
