Dr. Ashdin always knew he wanted to pursue a career in healthcare, in some sort of capacity! It was during his undergraduate studies at South Florida University when he truly developed a passion for movement and how it can be incorporated into rehabilitation. He shadowed a few chiropractors in Tampa, and the rest is history.
During Dr. Ashdin’s final internship while completing chiropractic school at Logan College of Chiropractic, he had the opportunity to intern at a high level Sports Chiropractic Office (Health-Fit Chiro), as well as an elite performance gym, XPE Sports, where he gained hands on experience with future NFL athletes. In addition, Dr. Ashdin finished chiropractic school with a master’s in sports science and rehabilitation.
Strive2Move was exactly the type of practice Dr. Ashdin was looking for. A clinic that places a heavy emphasis on patient-centers rehab and active care is the type of model I believe in. I want to help clients get back to moving and functioning at a high level.
Dr. Ashdin’s philosophy of helping patients maximize their performance aligned directly with Strive2Move’s mission. When I came across Strive2Move, I immediately had that guy feeling this would be the place for me to grow. Dr. Ashdin believes manual therapy, rehab, and strength training should be the foundation for patient care.
What do you love most about working at Strive2Move?
Dr. Ashdin: I was looking for a place that would challenge me to grow as both a clinician & a person. After completing an interview in New Jersey with Justin and Lauren, I knew this was the exact place I wanted to be. The opportunity to join a successful, established clinic, while also seeking growth, was second to none. Strive2Move is truly a family and I am beyond grateful to shape my career here.
