At Strive2Move, our chiropractors do more than crack backs and hand out ice packs. We move with our patients—literally and figuratively. And no one embodies that more than Dr. Ashdin.
From the outside, Dr. Ashdin’s day might look like a blend of rehab sessions, movement assessments, and strength training. But for him, it’s about something much deeper: helping people return to the lives—and levels—they want to live.
From South Florida to Sports Science
Dr. Ashdin’s journey into chiropractic care began at the University of South Florida, where his passion for movement and rehab first took shape. After shadowing chiropractors in Tampa and interning with elite athletes at XPE Sports, it was clear: this wasn’t just a career. It was a calling.
With a doctorate from Logan College of Chiropractic and a master’s in Sports Science and Rehabilitation, Dr. Ashdin came into the field with both clinical expertise and real-world experience in performance environments. What he wanted next? A clinic that treated patients like athletes, and movement as medicine.
Why Strive2Move?
“When I found Strive2Move, I knew immediately—it just felt right,” Dr. Ashdin says. “It’s a clinic that believes in active care, not just passive treatments. We’re not here to just get you out of pain—we’re here to build you back stronger.”
From the first conversation with Justin and Lauren, he saw that Strive2Move was different. This wasn’t a one-size-fits-all clinic. It was a place where individualized care, long-term results, and a team-oriented culture truly mattered.
And for someone who thrives on growth—both as a clinician and as a soon-to-be dad—this was the perfect place to dig deep and grow roots.
What Does a Day Look Like?
Most mornings, Dr. Ashdin starts with an early patient who’s eager to get moving before work. A runner with hip impingement. A CrossFitter rehabbing a shoulder. A busy mom navigating low back pain while chasing her toddler.
Each session is intentional. You won’t find him rushing from one adjustment to the next. Instead, you’ll find Dr. Ashdin side-by-side with his patients—coaching through functional movement drills, modifying strength training programs, and explaining why that pain started in the first place.
His treatments often include a combination of:
- Manual therapy to restore mobility
- Corrective exercise to re-pattern movement
- Functional strength work to build resilience
- Education to empower long-term success
No two days are the same—but the why behind his work never changes: Get people back to doing what they love, and help them do it better than before.
“I really like his techniques better than any chiropractor I’ve been to. Rather than just getting adjustments, we’re strengthening and creating flexibility in my back and legs, which is really working for pain management.” – Ben K.
“Dr. Ashdin helped me work through my hip injuries and improve my running stability. Because of him, I was able to meet my goals and excel in my career.” – Brett R.
Beyond the Clinic Walls
When he’s not helping others chase their performance goals, Dr. Ashdin’s out hiking, watching The Office for the hundredth time, or cheering on his hometown teams (Go Bucs!). And these days, he’s also preparing for his next big adventure: fatherhood.
Why It Matters
At Strive2Move, we believe in care that evolves with you. That’s why we bring on clinicians like Dr. Ashdin—people who are hungry to grow, deeply invested in their patients, and grounded in the idea that performance and recovery go hand in hand.
Dr. Ashdin isn’t just helping people heal. He’s helping them thrive. And that’s the Strive2Move difference.
